If you need to register a group and/or be billed offline, please complete this form for everyone in your group. This will allow us to collect all of the pertinent information and bill you offline.
Registrants are encouraged to find a substitute if they are no longer able to attend. Substitutes will not be accepted for events involving an application and selection process. In this case, NELA will offer the vacant spot to an applicant on the program wait list.
A refund of the registration fee, minus an administrative fee of 20% of the registration fee or $5.00, whichever is greater, will be given for cancellations received at least two weeks prior to the event. Cancellations should be sent by email to email@example.com.
No monetary refunds will be issued less than two weeks prior to the event.
Emergencies, e.g., illness, death in the family, may be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org. Emergency cases must be submitted prior to the end of the event. NELA may require proof of emergency, i.e. doctor's note, etc. The administrative fees still apply.
NELA reserves the right for final approval on any and all refund amounts.
No, speakers need to register. Please see your Speaker Agreement, received via NELA's DocuSign account, for directions on speaker registration. If you have additional questions, please email Megan Bishop at email@example.com.
This depends on your Speaker Agreement. Please see your Speaker Agreement, received via NELA's DocuSign account, for registration directions and applicable discount codes.
If you have materials related to your session, such as a PowerPoint or handouts, you can submit them to NELA's OSF meeting page.
Send an email to the following address(es) from the email account you would like used on the OSF:
The format of the email should be as follows:
Message bodyPresentation abstract (if any)
AttachmentYour presentation file (e.g., PowerPoint, PDF, etc.)
If you get an error message that your files were too large to send via email, there is a workaround. Using the correct OSF email format, send a smaller placeholder document. This will set up your talk, and you will then be able to log-in and replace the placeholder document with the correct files. If you continue to have an issue, please email Megan Bishop at firstname.lastname@example.org.
No, NELA is not able to print out any handouts. You may print and bring your own handouts, but we encourage you make your materials available digitally via NELA's OSF site as described above. This helps to avoid unnecessary paper waste.
Yes, speakers need to provide their own computer and any necessary adaptors.
All sessions, except Table Talks, will have a screen, projector, microphone, and speakers. Wifi will also be available. There will be no AV available for Table Talk sessions.
